The role of the Sales Engineer is to provide quality pre-sales technical support to the Cogent sales organization. The Sales Engineer (SE) interacts with clients and supports sales reps and sales management. The SE qualifies sales opportunities, resolves all technical issues arising from the sales engagement, helps clients define specifications and requirements, and presents technical information to small and large audiences. The SE is also responsible for training sales reps on network technology and products. This position will support a minimum of 30 sales reps in multiple geographic locations and may require up to 50% travel.
