Direct quota bearing responsibility on a monthly and quarterly basis is required. What we are looking for:: Candidate must have proven experience in finding new business. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 3-5 years of quantifiable, successful B2B direct telecommunications sales experience in a fast-paced, competitive data/telecommunications OR IT selling environment. A track record of success and recent experience in this environment is required. A College degree is preferred. Proficiency with PC based applications such as Word, Excel, and Siebel a plus. What you will be doing: The Regional Account Manager III position is a senior level sales position. The position requires prospecting and cold calling in North America to NetCentric customers, such as web hosting companies, universities, ISPs, video gaming companies, etc., with the goal to meet and exceed established revenue objectives. Candidate will direct call on new customers and analyze client needs relative to Internet connectivity over our unique, in building, Fiber Optic infrastructure. Direct quota bearing responsibility on a monthly and quarterly basis is required. What we are looking for: Candidate must have proven experience in finding new business. Cogent is seeking a Database Administrator to act as the lead DBA for our Global Data Architechture used to support our growing staff in the United States, Canada and Western Europe. This position requires 3 years of experience with both Microsoft SQL on Windows and Oracle on Sun Solaris. A four-year college degree in a technology related field is desired.
The preferred candidate will have the ability to perform day-to-day operational support functions within SQL & Oracle, including client, server and database administration and must be able to communicate with end users and the development team to resolve issues. The candidate will need experience in creating technical specifications based on application end-user or developer feedback and analysis of business workflow with the goal of optimizing and automating business processes. The candidate will need excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable providing end user and developer support.

Cogent is seeking a Remedy Administrator/Analyst/Support individual to act as the lead Application Administrator for our Remedy implementation used to support our Operations Center and Customer Service staff in the United States, Canada and Western Europe. This position requires 3 years of administration experience with Remedy applications and technical support center processes. A four-year college degree in business or a technology related field is desired.
The preferred candidate will have the ability to perform day-to-day operational support functions within Remedy, including client, server and application administration and must be able to communicate with end users to resolve issues. The candidate will need excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable providing end user training.
