Sales Account Manager

Cogent Communications is looking for experienced Sales Account Managers in Amsterdam, Paris and London to augment its rapid growth in Europe.

Responsibilities:

- Carry a personal sales target/quota.

- Provide hands-on technical expertise for maintaining, troubleshooting and turning-up fiber optic networks.
- Turn-up and test new customer circuits.
- Drive the implementation of metro augmentation and expansion.
- Work with vendors to build out collocation facilities.
- Provide coordination between field managers and HQ on construction projects.
- Work with Engineering to provide field perspective to network deployment as well as to provide expertise in deployments.
- Select, manage and train vendors on network support and construction.
- Maintain proficiency in up-to-date technological developments in power systems, telecommunications infrastructure, fiber, CQDM and DWDM technologies.
